Olorama Technology joins Lanzadera to continue driving the development of digital scent technology

Olorama, a Valencia-based company specializing in digital olfactory technology, has joined Lanzadera, the startup accelerator at Marina de Empresas led by Juan Roig, with the goal of accelerating its growth, strengthening its business strategy, and continuing to develop solutions that incorporate the sense of smell into digital, audiovisual, and interactive experiences.

Joining Lanzadera marks a new step in Olorama’s evolution; the company has developed its own patented technology to professionally generate and control scents. Olorama works with a catalog of more than 200 scents and develops solutions capable of integrating up to 10 different scents into a single device, with activation systems via API, DMX, voice-recognition apps, and development environments such as Unity and Unreal.

Olorama brings the sense of smell to the digital experience

Olorama’s goal is to incorporate the sense of smell into experiences that have traditionally been dominated by sight and sound. Its technology allows scents to be synchronized with content and experiences, creating new possibilities for sectors such as virtual reality, film and audiovisual media, events, education, entertainment, and sensory marketing.

The company has developed professional devices capable of diffusing scents without heating them—a feature that preserves their properties—and systems designed to ensure rapid and uniform distribution. Its technology has been used in projects and experiences for organizations and brands such as IBM, Givaudan, Lancôme, Securitas, and Naturgy, among others.
